End Human Trafficking

Human trafficking is a modern form of slavery. It is happening in the United States. NEA seeks to better equip educators with useful resources on combating human trafficking. Ending Child Labor and Slavery – Film and Resources

The Price of Free is an award winning documentary about 21st century child labor, focusing on children rescued by Nobel Peace Prize laureate Kailash Satyarthi. Until March 27, 2019, educators can register to stream The Price of Free without cost

100 million children around the world are denied their basic human rights. They are trafficked, forced into labor for survival, and do not have access to education. The 100 Million Campaign  builds a strong advocacy for and with these children. The Teachers’ Action Guide ( PDF) includes resource materials for use at the upper elementary through high school levels. Also available in Spanish ( PDF).


No Time to Lose: How to Build a World-Class Education System State by State

NEA partnered with a National Conference of State Legislators (NCSL) working group that is looking at what the US might learn from top-performing education jurisdictions around the world.
